I was responsible for a staff consisting of about 40 employees. I would conduct the morning meeting and assigning of staff to their positions. I worked directly with the Guest Relations Manager and Cruise Director onboard to start the debarkation process and handle any pressing matters that would happen during debark. Working closely with various departments including Security, U.S. Customs and Shipboard Employees we would debark over 2,000 guests and then turnaround and prepare for embarkation of another 2,000+ guests. I would handle any issues with guests during the embarkation process including problems with room assignments, having proper identification and handling of crowd control. After the completion of the day I would complete various reports.

On embarkation days, I set up laptops at each checkin station. I work closely with the IT Officer onboard the ship to make sure that the wireless connection and computers are ready for checkin. Throughout the day I troubleshoot any technical problems that can occur with the computers and I help organize paperwork that needs to go on the ship. I help out the Manager and Supervisor in various situations. At the end of the day I prepare the final reports and breakdown the computers to bring the equipment back onboard the ship.

Responsible for getting client approval of ads; creating the final pdfs of files to go to the printer; and getting the color book in order. I was in charge of creating ads for the restaurant section of the magazines and subscription cards. JES Publishing produces 8 magazines, including Boca Raton Magazine and Florida Table Magazine.
