As the Executive Director of The Nickelodeon Theatre in Columbia, SC, I lead a vibrant and historic nonprofit cinema dedicated to showcasing diverse and independent films. My role encompasses strategic vision, operational excellence, and community engagement. Since taking on this position, I have driven significant organizational and financial improvements, restoring the theater's reputation and ensuring its sustainability.

The Contemporaries mission is to provide an opportunity to support the CMA through promoting the museum and its programs, diversifying the museum's membership, and leading the next generation of museum supporters. Each year, the Contemporaries host a series of social and cultural events that bring members of the Columbia community together at the museum. A portion of the proceeds from the annual ball and other programming goes toward the Contemporaries' Art Acquisition Fund, designed to acquire a significant piece of art for the museum.

Trustus Theatre is a professional non-profit theatre in Columbia, SC that was started in 1985 by Jim and Kay Thigpen. The Thigpen's had a vision of bringing high-quality, ground breaking work to the south and the theatre is heading into it's 34th season. I have been involved with the theatre since stage managing a late night production in 2004 and haven't been a part of the team ever since. It is my privilege to serve as Vice President of the Board of Directors as we continue to bring thought provoking performances to the midlands. The Theatre program at Spring Hill High School's Mission is to:-Develop creativity, artistic skills and professionalism in students through active programing.-Encourage and develop skills in communication, problem solving, research, and effective writing through coursework and application in performance and production.-Offer Honors and College Prep students to the opportunity to expand and perfect their knowledge of the literary, historical and philosophical aspects of theatre through a rich curriculum.-Foster students' understanding and appreciation of the arts through general education courses and the production program.

My delightful side project in life is directing children's musicals for the Irmo Chapin Recreation Commission. Our program provides theatrical experiences for k-12 students in the Richland/Lexington area.

Connecting and motivating participants in the state of South Carolina to help make Super Bowl Sunday the biggest day of giving and serving in the nation.

Handling the budget, payroll, event planning, and assist with all other coordination for the Department of Visual and Performing Arts for Richland County School District One.

Having been involved with this theatre company since 2004 it was a natural move to the board. I am Co-Chair of the events committee helping plan annual events to bring new light to the Trustus family of supporters. Managing the Gallery space at Trustus is purely volunteer based as one of my missions to cross bridges and build connections between arts areas. making art more accessible, is one of the Gallery's goals, by working with artists to offer affordable works of art. Altogether creating a well-rounded artistic environment at Trustus.

The year I worked at SCPA I was unbelievably lucky to help a local lobbyist plan the State House Reopening Gala after a long spell of renovations! Because of lobbyist laws I was the one who had to print and send all of the invitations. It was an experience I will never forget. I also did stuff like make coffee, clip articles and file. That is when I learned that when you answer the phone with a smile they can hear it on the other end!
