Being artistic and extremely colour focused, I can always be found experimenting with unusual patterns, textures and contrasts in colour or light and shade, taking pictures, creating collages, designing mood boards or rearranging displays. I am also very interested in the source and journey of design, both the High Street retail ranges and the Luxury market, from concept to customer, catwalk to consumption, and the buying process, including manufacturing, merchandising and marketing. I am also interested the psychology of brand perception, market comparisons, pricing, branding, logos, magazine edits and advertising and social media campaigns. However, when my Aunt was diagnosed with a Brain Tumor in 2013, and I started volunteering at Cancer Research, I began to spend more and more time trying to find the best ways to tempt sales, raise funds for the Charity and raise the profile of the shop, by combining visual merchandising, styling, photography and social media.
