In 2013 Assignar was built as a proof of concept to solve operational challenges that came with the growth of my rail subcontracting business, which was expanding nationally. Being a tech guy, I architectured and built the Assignar prototype, and once it was implemented into my sub-contracting business there were measurable results within 2 months.In late 2013, Assignar was demonstrated at a major project safety forum and immediately after we were overrun with enquiries. By early 2014, we had signed up 6 clients and rapidly commercialised the product. Assignar has continued to experience 300%+ annual growth and counts many sub-contractors, asset owners, large General Contractors and publicly listed companies as customers.

In 2014 I moved into the role of Non Executive Director.We founded Infraworks in 2007 as a specialist rail service provider and sub-contractor.As one of the founders of Infraworks, I was key in developing relationships with Tier 1 GCs and asset owners. Infraworks was incorporated in 2007, and now employs over 250 personnel and has over 80 pieces of heavy plant and equipment.

We launched Train Me in 2011 as part of Infraworks Rail’s commitment to the training of our employees to ensure we provide a well-trained workforce to meet and exceed our Client’s requirements. Train Me is a registered RTO and provides industry leading and innovative training, assessment and recertification services to the Australian Rail Industry.

InGolf & Utility Pty Ltd is the NSW/ACT distributor of the Club Car range of golf cars and utility vehicles. Our vision is to be the preferred choice for Golf Cars, Utility vehicles and golf course infrastructure services in our region.This business was acquired in September 2016.

Think Secure was developed to meet a gap in the market of an Australian-owned and based specialist IT security consultancy. Our team of experts took an independent approach in designing secure solutions, based on understanding our customers’ business issues. Here I leveraged the experience and expertise I had honed in my previous role, with a focus on customer experience.

I worked at Dimension Data when they were previously known as Com Tech Communications, as an IT Security Engineer. I designed, built and managed large network and application layer security systems, as well as performed risk and compliance audits for many large organisations, including multi-national banks, insurers, government security agencies and large listed public companies.
