In 2004, after my freshman year of college, I was paralyzed in a downhill skiing accident. In spite of the loss of function in my legs, God used this situation to help me walk with Him. The love and knowledge of Jesus has changed me. It is my desire to glorify Him, and to give my life in service to Christ and to others. It is through my own testimony, my work ethic, and my demeanor that I hope people can see Christ in me, and come to know the God of hope. From small children to teenagers, and from drug addicts to hurting adults, much of my adult life has been spent working with people who need help solving problems or finding long lasting change. I feel called to empower people to fulfill the purpose for which God has created them. God has gifted me with leadership, communication, and people skills to this end. Regardless of what people believe or what they have done, all people bear the image of God, and thereby deserve dignity and respect. I feel very strongly that how we treat people matters, particularly when people disagree. My professional experience has been enriched by such trainings and workshops like Supervision for Success, Truthought Corrective Thinking, Motivational Interviewing, Life Space Crisis Intervention and many others. Additionally, my community involvement continues to add to my collective knowledge and experience base. Whether it be through ministry or work experience, I have worked alongside magistrates, attorneys, therapists, legislators, elected officials, clergy, parents, children and many others to help empower individuals to make positive change through their own self-efficacy. In my personal life, I've always gravitated towards politics and public policy. This has led me to serve in a variety of ways, including as elected official in the Wyoming House of Representatives. Over the years I've grown in knowledge about parliamentary procedure. I was able to put these skills to work when I was invited to be the chairman of the 2020 & 2022 Wyoming State GOP Convention. Additionally, I enjoy reading, preaching and teaching, often immersing myself in theological studies.Finally, I wouldn't be the man I am without my wife. Outside of my salvation Christ, she is my greatest gift. It is our desire to raise up our children to know the love of Christ, and to spread that love through their own character and hard work as they learn to involve themselves in the community.
