Venuelabs is a SaaS web app that provides location-based, social media listening, and data analytics to brick and mortar businesses. Initially hired to their agile team as a consultant, I was brought on full-time as UX Design Lead. While there I assisted the CTO in creating a new product AboutLocal, a social listening platform with price-points for all businesses. This product was purchased by Groupon.+ Assisted CTO with ideation and creation of a new product, AboutLocal, which led to $4mil in VC funding, and the purchase of the company by Groupon. + Conducted market research through customer surveys and telephone interviews+ Created User Personas to aid product development and design+ Led low-cost usability tests+ Developed wireframes and completed designs for mobile, web and tablet+ Iterated often to respond to the users' needs+ Mentored and coached junior designer

Created interactive and animated magazine and newspaper templates that were published via RSS. I designed and coded templates for iPads using HTML5 and CSS3. Created brand style guides, interactive user features, and magazine layouts for online publication. Pages were responsive to portrait and landscape orientations.
