GetVirtual.org is a non-profit that gives local small businesses affected by COVID-19 the tools to adapt to the virtual landscape, extend their businesses online, and thrive in a new tomorrow.We partner with colleges by co-opting or creating a "hands-on" entrepreneurial accredited course. We then team up with local economic development groups to connect with local businesses. College students engage with local businesses by providing a suite of online services as volunteer interns. Businesses get to extend their business online and students learn about entrepreneurship from experienced entrepreneurs, while giving back to the community.We are nearing a successful pilot with the University of California, Santa Cruz where we received over 80 business signups. Next up, California State University, Monterey Bay. We've developed a complete turnkey program, system, methodology, and tools; all a college needs to do is:- Create or co-op an existing course (The University of California created a course)- Add an entrepreneur teacher (we can help if you need an instructor)- Partner with their local economic development groups (we know how to do this effectively)Students are trained by GetVirtual graduating classes and can quickly begin engaging with their local businesses providing a suite of online services. Our goal is to create a worldwide footprint. We are in discussions with a number of colleges and open to "any" college that wants to launch GetVirtual. There are no fees.We are exploring several different funding/sponsorship models. Our goal is to pay top-performing students that completed the course to stay with the organization to help scale, mentor new students, curate, and build out a next-generation small business technology platform to accelerate small business online revenue.

I serve as the President of the Entrepreneurship Club at UCSC and collaborate closely with the Center of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development. In this role, I have had the privilege of assisting over 20 startups in refining their business plans, developing go-to-market strategies, and crafting compelling pitch decks. Additionally, I have represented these startups at various pitch competitions, leading to significant achievements, such as Interlock gaining admission to Y Combinator (YC), Stay Posted earning a place at Skydeck, Chatspert securing support from the Citris Foundation, and Pinpoint winning $10,000 at Santacruz Launchpad.Within the UCSC community, I have organized and conducted numerous events and workshops, including pitch competitions, demo days, ideathons, and speaker sessions featuring renowned industry figures like Marc Randolph, Steve Blank, Patrick Chung, Toby Corey, and Rick Vargas. Further, I manage a weekly newsletter with a substantial audience base of 1200+, delivering entrepreneurial insights and opportunities. I've also been instrumental in establishing strategic partnerships with accelerators such as Blackstone Launchpad, Santa Cruz Works, and Nucleate. These collaborations have greatly enriched our entrepreneurial ecosystem, providing startups and aspiring entrepreneurs with invaluable resources, mentorship, and networking opportunities. I actively sourced startups for product demo days, participated in assessing a will-writing startup, and gained insights into government schemes for SMBs and startups.

My experience in the Founder's Office of a dynamic fintech company was a truly immersive journey. I began by conducting a comprehensive analysis of the public fintech landscape, gaining a holistic understanding of the industry's growth. This involved studying investor reports and BCGxMatrix reports, equipping me with valuable insights into the fintech ecosystem.As my internship progressed, I was tasked with a meticulous page-by-page analysis of the company's website, delving deep into its user interface and customer engagement. I ventured into the market to gather firsthand insights from shopkeepers, understanding their perceptions of the brand, colors, and logo, which further involved a deep dive into Google Analytics to assess user behavior.A crucial aspect of my role was conducting competition analysis across various fintech models and dissecting the financial health of lending companies through the study of their balance sheets.I also took on the challenge of enhancing Instagram engagement, leveraging my creativity to write, direct, and act in reels that resonated with the audience, one of which achieved viral success.To gain a comprehensive understanding of the company's operations, I ventured into client onboarding, KYC processes, sales strategies, MIS development, and the critical importance of undertaking in fintech success. I also dived into recon and collections processes to ensure a well-rounded perspective. Interviewed each team and also created SOPs for them.My internship culminated in organizing cultural events, Fun Fridays, and team exercises as part of the HR team's efforts to maintain a vibrant workplace culture. Additionally, I led a Market Visit drive, giving the in-office team firsthand exposure to shopkeepers' pain points and insights.My contributions and insights ultimately shaped strategic changes for scaling and optimizing processes, making them more efficient.

Riidl is Somaiya University’s Startup Incubation Center. Streamlined business Models for 2 startups 24Buy7 and CitJo. Hosted a Demo Day, where 40+ startups presented their products and 30 odd investors had visited to evaluate the companies.Riidl hosts a annual event called Maker Mela where over 1000+ product developers come and present their work. Helped with recruiting of the core Team.

The Rice Box was a F&B, B-C startup. The Rice box used to serve 25 different rice dishes. We worked as a cloud kitchen.

Hosted the first-ever TEDx in Hiranandani, Powai. Was able to get cash and kind sponsorships work Rs. 35,000. Sold 100 tickets for the event. Helped source a couple of speakers for the event. Managed the production of the event. This was my first entrepreneurial experience where I could ideate, sell the idea to the school, build a team, create branded media for marketing, execute cash sales, manage sponsorships and vendors, clean and scheduled execution, and leave a legacy where the same event has been going on for 5 years now.

Executed competition analysis and shared insights on shaping the luxury homestays market in India. Was a part of planning a membership model, so researched different membership models run by successful companies like Mahindra Holidays and Sterling.
