I am excited to sit on the user side of the desk as a school finance professional performing the usual activities of accounting and payroll, implementing new school finance technology, and working as a human resources professional responsible for managing staff leave of absences and relevant HR issues. Prior to joining the board of education, I took a 7-year break and started a fashion boutique. As owner/operator, I managed all aspects of my brick-and-mortar location including on-line sales and marketing, on-line retail, fashion merchandising. I built my boutique business from scratch selling accessories and jewelry to women's clothing and lingerie. I am a trained bra fitter. As a naturally curious, competitive, and ambitious person, I never stop learning. I am a licensed real estate agent currently in referral. I am a trained home staging consultant and have studied interior design for more than 15 years. I have a long background as an active volunteer and board member for the Sussex County Chamber of Commerce, American Sewing Guild, and New Jersey Association of Women Business Owners. I am an active Toastmaster who mentors adults seeking more confidence as a speaker and leaders. And I sew, knit, design clothing and jewelry, practice yoga, study photography, read and watch TV and movies.
