The group has 4000 employees & 56 aircraft that operate 300 flights daily.• Responsible for the complete financial analysis behind the commercial partnership with Thomas Cook Belgium and related transfer of assets from Thomas Cook Airlines.• Reduced the total customer servicing budget with 28% via review of specifications and smart outsourcing, while improving qualitative and quantitative KPIs.• Tendered various service and goods contracts (e.g. cargo trucking, food & beverage, uniforms, software licenses, telecom…) and achieved double digit savings for all assigned projects.

As a Management Trainee I got to know the company inside out by working on different projects within different teams & departments:• Implemented the lean methodology to logistic flows - Maintenance & Engineering• Negotiated the regulated airport taxes that will be paid to the Brussels Airport Company from 2016 to 2021 - Aeropolitics & Regulatory• Analyzed and improved the long haul catering product and logistics - Procurement• Identified actions that reduced the # of mishandled transfer bags - Ground Operations• Business development of voucher products for B2B and B2C clients - Marketing

Flanders Youth Society for Entrepreneurship is an official society within the University of Ghent focused on gathering and facilitating student entrepreneurs.Responsible for all the events hosted by FLYSE. Contacted potential partner organizations and guest speakers, negotiated terms for sponsoring and did the marketing of events towards our members (social media, mailings, auditorium presentations…).• Doubled the number activities to 6 per semester. Kick-off event was attended by 450 students and academics, which was a 50% increase in comparison to 2011.• Increased memberships by 40% in one year, up to 650 members.
