El Paso, Texas Area

As co-host of the Buzz Adams Morning Show, I wrote and contributed on-air content to a syndicated morning show originating on KLAQ in El Paso and syndicated to several radio stations across West Texas.While co-hosting the show, I created and managed the show's digital and social content, building the station’s Instagram account by more than 4,000 users and growing the local station's YouTube channel to be the largest in Townsquare Media’s local network. I also worked with both local and national sales staffs to conceptualize and execute content-driven advertorials and integrated promotional campaigns, both online and on air.

Greater New York City Area

As a member of Townsquare Media's corporate digital team, I developed and managed execution of digital and social media strategy for a network of 250-plus radio stations across the United States. I trained and oversaw digital managing editors within numerous U.S. markets. In addition, I assisted in launching the digital side of the company's live events business. I hired and trained its first digital live events managers and provided on the ground digital and social coverage for dozens of live events, from national music festivals, to food and beer events.

Hartford, Connecticut

As managing editor of WFSB.com, I oversaw daily and long-term operations and editorial efforts of CBS’ Hartford television affiliate's digital properties.My responsibilities included writing news and breaking news stories, monitoring web and social analytics, managing daily email campaigns and push notifications, working with producers on digital elements of on-air shows, editing video, managing the site’s news editors and contributing reporters and interacting with the brand’s online audience. I launched both the station's Facebook page (which now has nearly 500k likes) and Twitter (171k followers) accounts.

Middletown, Ct

At the Middletown Press, I edited both editorial and sponsored copy, managed other copy editors, worked with reporters and approved the daily newspaper before print. I also wrote headline copy and assisted in the layout and design of the paper.

Devens, Mass.

My time at Nashoba Publishing — a group of community newspapers — was spent scrutinizing obituaries, police blotters and the weekly school lunch menu for typos and misplaced semicolons. On top of editing and designing six of the papers' sections, I wrote various feature pieces.
