- Led a group of developers for the purpose of upgrading and maintaining all of JIFSAN websites and applications.- Completed the rebuild of many JIFSAN websites from a plethora of different languages (static HTML, Coldfusion, PHP) to the current design: most have an MVC framework (cakePHP) integrated with a fully functional CMS (Wordpress) to allow ease of maintainability by both developers and content managers.- Designed, implemented, and maintained a development/production infrastructure including a proper work flow to ensure a fully stable release to the production environment. This included implementing and enforcing source control on all projects.- Leveraging all resources available to the department by the university, used current hypervisor technology to upgrade infrastructure from physical to virtual machines.- Responsible for full webstack development including, but not limited to, domain name servers, mail server (with SMTP, POP3, SPF, and DKIM), reverse proxy, and firewalls.- Lead programmer and system administrator for the following websites: jifsan.umd.edu cfs3.umd.edu foodrisk.org ppod.foodrisk.org icra.foodrisk.org upload.jifsan.umd.edu genomelc.jifsan.org toxicologylc.jifsan.org norodb.foodrisk.org fscf-ptin.apec.org portal.jifsan.umd.edu mail.jifsan.org

Upgraded a legacy database system that had no consolidated backend to a modern web-based solution with a full CRUD administration site. This allowed the department to properly account for reimbursement vouchers to taxi drivers totalling in the hundreds of thousands of dollars, a task that was impossible before this redesign.
