CurrentMy role involves developing and implementing strategic initiatives in consultation with the Board. As General Manager and Company Secretary, I work with multiple stakeholders to deliver the RAHS core goal of promoting the understanding of Australian history. I have listed some of my performance that that highlight the breath and depth of my role:• Managed operational changes to ensure our four employees and thirty volunteers deliver membership publications, events program and online content to past and new audiences in cost efficient ways that are operationally and financially sustainable• Developed reporting pack for board so they had better transparency on finances, key performance indicators and the status of all projects.• Developed reporting pack for board so they had better transparency on KPIs• Developed a fundraising program for our heritage-listed premises and secured $3 million in donations • Secured $200,000 a year in funding to support local and community history projects through grant schemes administered by the RAHS on behalf of the NSW government•Successful record of securing grant funding for RAHS educational and digital projects from City of Sydney and NSW Government, including $80,000 of grant funding for IT and employee training •During COVID implemented a technology strategy to ensure that the RAHS could deliver services to its members and support its 380 affiliated organisations. • Successfully developed the RAHS’ website and digital media strategy to increase our reach and promote our organisation to new audiences• Implemented financial management, cost control and reporting strategies to ensure the long-term financial sustainability of the RAHS
