My vocation includes, for-profit and non-profit executive, worldview expertise, public theologian, cultural analyst, and author.Ever since leaving my career as a corporate CEO in 2001, I have been working to help people obtain biblical wisdom so that they might be better able to live faithfully and discern what is true, and good, and beautiful in every area of life and reality. In 2007, I founded the Center for Christ & Culture where my weekly commentaries reached more than a million readers each week through Crosswalk.com, Christianity.com, The Christian Post and numerous other web-based outlets. In 2009, I authored, Uncompromised Faith: Overcoming Our Culturalized Christianity (NavPress). I served as an adjunct professor at Western Seminary, where I taught Cultural Apologetics. I have appeared on Fox News, CNN, ABC, NBC, and many other national television and radio programs. Prior to joining The Colson Center, I served as the president of BridgeBuilders, an inner-city ministry in South Dallas, where we pioneered a unique "missional" strategy for transforming the “culture of poverty” into a culture of flourishing, breaking the cycle of poverty that dominates America’s inner-city communities.
