About Michelle Cooke

With over 15 years providing Human Resources leadership and support in a diverse set of industries, I have cultivated a strong skill base in recruiting, HRIS system management and integration, employee relations, payroll, benefits, workers compensation, management, sales, training, and regulatory compliance. I have been blessed with the opportunity to start the HR department from the ground up, as well as transition into organizations where I provided partnership to multiple levels of management across multiple states. In any of these roles, it was vital that I was also a safe resource for non-exempt employees, knowing that HR is an integral part of creating and maintaining the culture and brand of the organization. My passion for helping and coaching others started at a young age and has never faltered. Having seen the impact of long battle of Alzheimer's with my grandmother, I pursued a Bachelor's of Science in Chemistry hoping to aide in the development of a cure. However, I was recruited into an HR role my senior year and fell in love with it! I realized my ability to truly support, encourage, and find improvements that helped others didn't have to just be in a lab. Knowing my outgoing personality and passion for social interaction, the lab environment would have been tough! Human Resources was the perfect fit.I am actively seeking a new opportunity in an HR or administrative capacity that will allow me to continue to quench this passion and be innovative in contributing to the goals of a new organization!
