Currently, I am the Equipment Maintenance Manager for Catalent Pharma Solutions in Kansas City. Catalent Pharma Solutions is a global leader in development solutions and advanced delivery technologies, providing reliable supply for drugs, biologics and consumer health products. I’ve been at Catalent since 2016. In my current roll, I manage a team of 8 equipment maintenance technicians that support cGMP manufacturing, storage and laboratory areas. I plan, prioritization and manage execution of routine and non-routine maintenance activities. Before leading the maintenance team, I was a process engineer. In that position, I supported design, installation, start up, validation and operation of manufacturing equipment.I graduated The University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2015. After graduation, and prior to starting at Catalent, I worked at Pentair Flow Technologies. During my time there, I worked as a Lean Co-Op, then a Field Service Coordinator. As a Lean Co-Op, I assessed and analyzed test results to improve first pass yield and worked closely with production to address quaintly issues. As a Field Service coordinator, I managed customer claims and/or concerns regarding post shipment products and provided resolution within company policy guidelines. While completing my bachelor’s degree, I was also a four-year member and co-captain of the University of Kansas’s cheerleading team. This opportunity utilized my time management skills by balancing practice, performance, travel and academic requirements. I completed various mechanical and biomedical engineering assignments that taught me various aspects of design and project planning. My strong leadership and communication skills have been recognized by employers, co-workers, professors, teammates, and students.
