I started as Business Development Manager in the firm which manufactures Car Seat Covers and its accessories using latest CNC machines involving an enormous team of labors. This company supplies these accessories as a vendor to Hyundai, Kia motors, Suzuki, Mahindra, MG Motors, Godrej etc. My role initially was to evolve the company and expand its network to export and market products in OEMs which soon evolved into taking over the control of 3 manufacturing plants production planning, relationship management with clients and effectively scaling up production. As a senior manager of operations, I was the bridge between the employees and senior management. I also implemented Lean & 5S in the regular manufacturing processes to improve the throughput.

Spare Care Solutions is a tech-based start-up which helped the service centers of all Automobile brands to plan their spare parts management including but not limited to ordering intelligence, inventory management, data processing to provide insights of daily operations to the higher management. A customized software tool was built from scratch with the team to define the strategy of how the spare parts business should be handled at the dealerships to maximize profit. I was also a part of the core team which lead to the devising a new policy for sharing the dead stock within the clients to help liquidating non-moving inventory. Particularly, the role was to devise new strategies to help the dealerships maximize profitability by improving the current processes along with processing their data and bringing the insights to all the stakeholders.

I was responsible for handling projects using the Scrum methodology and delivery of projects on time.I was also involved in the internal projects for company’s self-growth by providing suggestions andcreating functional prototypes.

I was responsible for the inventory data analysis and helping the customers to maintain an idealinventory with minimum loss.I worked in standardizing the processes and defining standard operating procedures for the daily business operations such as demand planning, creation of stock, parts procurement reports etc.

I was responsible for the maintenance of the computerized numeric control (CNC) machines, computerized process control (CPC) machines and heavy duty sewing machines.I was also responsible for the procurement and the quality control of the raw material.

I was responsible for the assembly and testing of the control boxes for the sewing machines.In addition to that, I was responsible for fault diagnosis, rectification and documentation fordifferent components and control boxes used in the sewing machines.

I utilized the SCADA system for fault finding and control of the welding shop including industrialrobots, conveyor belts and chassis hangers etc.I programmed the PLC and graphical user interface for the automatic position control of a weldingrobot for changing the tip.I used the Enterprise Resource Planning Systems (SAP) to manage the inventory.
