An initiative to tell stories of people and heritage. We believe that the word Heritagewale represents us all because every one has associations with various forms of heritage in infinite ways. Heritage is not limited to monuments or old buildings as commonly perceived. With this initiative, we will explore multiple dimensions of this vast term and the remarkable ways in which some of us Heritagewale are engaged with it.

In association with Urban Design Research Institute, Mumbai. Project 1:Research and Exhibition titled ‘Urban Intermedia: City, Archive, Narrative’ presented projects by scholars and designers which provide innovative perspectives on urban environments, societies and cultures in Berlin, Boston, Istanbul and Mumbai through visual narratives. The four city-based research projects in Berlin, Boston, Istanbul, and Mumbai served as ‘portals’ into three key themes that structure the exhibition:• the interdependence of the planned + the unplanned, formal and informal practices• the urban imprint of migration + mobility, modalities of inclusion and exclusion• the interrelation of nature + technology, urban ecologies and infrastructuresThe Harvard Mellon Urban Initiative, sponsored by Harvard University and the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, is investigating interdisciplinary urban research through a broad use of media in a four-year study. Project 2:Research and Exhibition titled ‘State of Housing – Aspirations, Imaginaries and Realities in India’ curated by Rahul Mehrotra, Ranjit Hoskote and Kaiwan MehtaWorked with Rahul Mehrotra (Chair of the Department of Urban Planning and Design at Harvard University's Graduate School of Design) by collaborating with educational institutes, NGOs, experts, policy makers and stakeholders to synthesize multi-faceted research.
