Lending Specialist
Currenta) Approve loans (inbound and outbound online )within specified limits and refer loan outside those limits to management for approval.b) Contact applicants to obtain information for loan applications and to answer questions about the process.c)Analyze applicants; financial status, credit, and property evaluations to determine feasibility of granting loans.d)Explain to customers the different types of loans and credit options that are available, as well as the terms of those services.e) Obtain and compile copies of loan applicants, credit histories, corporate financial statements, and other financial information to compute payment schedules.f) Review loan agreements to ensure that they are complete and accurate according to policy.g) Stay abreast of new types of loans and other financial services and products to better meet customer needs.h) Have knowledge of all policies and procedures which are compliant in terms of the company policy, APRA, and ASIC guidelines.i) Assist or confer with underwriters to aid in resolving personal loan application problems.j) Set credit policies, credit lines, procedures, and standards in conjunction with senior managers.k) Handle customer complaints and escalations and take appropriate action to resolve them.l) Report manager weekly about distribution of online application, team performance and adherence to latitudes compliance and values.m) Trained academy team (new hires) and second in charge for the team while also acting floor in charge in absence of Team Leaders and Managers.n) Contacting and engaging existing and potential customers to assess their needs for Personal Lending products.o) Processing secured and unsecured loan applications accurately and efficiently to ensure a positive customer experience and in compliance with company obligations around lending and privacy.p) Verifying income based on the income document provided by the customer (Pay slips, Tax return, Bank Statements etc.)
