Led product management for several Data Center enterprise offerings, including Control Compliance Suite & Veritas Server Foundation.- Led product management for a key module of Symantec's Compliance offering. Responsible for the success of the product in key customer environments, including most major financial, telecommunication and healthcare organizations. Results included turn around in revenues & customer satisfaction.- Defined requirements for a new Data Center Automation offering (Veritas Automation Manager) including requirements for the primary use on “Technology Compliance”

Led a cross-functional team to develop a strategy for Symantec's key alliances. Also negotiated re-seller agreements and managed alliances with database partners including IBM, Oracle & Sybase.

Member of QuickBooks financial software product management team as a summer intern while attending HBS.- Developed a strategy for QuickBooks and presented key recommendations to Intuit’s senior management team.- Led effort to compile and prioritize QuickBooks features for FY04/05. Created a marketing requirements document for a high priority feature scheduled for the QuickBooks 2004 release.

Member of initial R&D team at this chip-design software provider. Played a leading role in company’s transition from a 40-person startup to a 250-person, publicly traded company with annual revenues of $50M. - Launched and managed Amplify™, a software tool for designing high-performance chips. Amplify™ was the company’s flagship product in 2000, generating $4M revenue in its first month.- Hired, trained and managed the Amplify™ R&D team.- Worked closely with business development and sales teams. Nominated for the Field Star Award for providing excellent support to sales force.- Awarded patent on innovative techniques implemented in Amplify™.

Tenure-track position which involved research, teaching and administration responsibilities.- Conducted research, supervised Ph.D. and MS students, authored research grant proposals and papers and presented research results at conferences and in journals.- Developed a new graduate course and upgraded 2 undergraduate courses to utilize state-of-the-art software tools.
