Nomura acquired Lehman's Asia business in Sept 2008 . Successfully built out Nomura India's institutional equity business , my third consecutive start up .

Headed institutional equity sales at Lehman Bros , India - post acquisition of the BRICS institutional team . This was the second consecutive start up that saw a strong buildout , until Sept 2008 , when Lehman Bros filed for bankruptcy .

Was hired by Mr. Nayan Jagjivan and Mr. V. R. Srinivasan to set up the institutional equities business of BRICS Securities , a start up firm . BRICS was a successful start up , with support at the time of starting operations , from marquee institutional investors , Foreign and Domestic . BRICS institutional equities was acquired by Lehman Bros in 2007 .

Was hired by Mr. U.R. Bhat and Mr. Dominique Price , Head of Equities and Country Head respectively to cover institutional clients , predominantly in Asia .

Was hired by Mr Raj Mishra , Head of equities , Dresdner India to cover institutional clients, predominantly in the United States

Worked in equity sales , under the overall leadership of Mr. Shripal Morakhia. Had the opportunity to cover institutional clients in Asia , United Kingdom and United States and develop most accounts from scratch .

Had a stint across all departments of the broking firm . Ie Research , Sales , Execution , Compliance and Settlement . During this period , visited the Bombay Stock Exchange to witness the open outcry system etc , just before the launch of on-line trading in India.

Travelled extensively across Mumbai , Navi Mumbai and Greater Mumbai , interviewing about 100 chemists in slum areas and elsewhere , including those attached to hospitals . The project was to understand why Pfizer's pain killer drug , Voveran sales were lagging that of key competing brands .

Worked under Mr. Gunter Weide , Head of the Biomedical dept to reduce the time taken for an X-Ray shot .
