Direct the development and implementation of activities in production area(s) to meet production goals including safety, quality, customer service, productivity, and lean manufacturing objectives. Prioritize production based on customer demand, staffing levels, equipment efficiency, and materials supply. Plan and administer procedures and budgets. Make budgetary recommendations including capital expenditures and direct/indirect labor levels. Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

- Manage & supervise the day to day operations in the paint department & the waste water treatment system.- Train personnel, route parts to various locations within the plant, conduct quality checks, monitor pre-treat bath parameters & paint viscosity.- Strategize with Materials Engineering on designing manufacturing guidelines including drain holes, access points, & hang methods.- Optimize & program FANUC paint robots, & provide preventative maintenance.- Work closely with the Environmental Engineering department to assist with reporting & proper disposal of hazardous waste.- Perform E-coat operations including maintenance, planning, & process improvements

-Built relationships with assigned accounts to drive the penetration of HVAC System offerings -Maintained frequent face to face contact with owners, engineers, architects and contractors-Worked with contractors & engineers to perform take-offs & budget estimates on potential projects-Bid on projects with the full spectrum of Johnson Control’s product-Assigned Accounts included: Illinois State University, Presence Covenant Medical Center, Ottawa Township High School, Farnsworth Group, GHR Engineering, Henneman Engineering Etc.

-Assist engineers in research and development of new parts and equipment -Provide and update technical and engineer drawings-Replace old parts with new parts within CAD assemblies-Manage related departmental projects-Project Lead for some Manufacturing / Shipping Projects
