From 2009 André Smith, managing director of MAAN Advies BV. is working as an Occupational Health Physician / Public Heath Expert.In December 2008 he retired as Occupational Health Physician/ Flight surgeon from the Royal Netherlands Airforce. In 1982 till 2008 I joined the Royal Netherlands Air Force as a medical doctor . From 1988 till 2005 I was Senior Medical Officer/ Medical Commander of Health Care Centres at the Airbase of Woensdrecht, Guided Weapon Group GGW De Peel and Airbase Leeuwarden.From 2005-2008 I was Medical Adviser/ Occupational Health Physician/ Medical Planner at the European Union Military Staff in Brussels, Belgium.Education:I studied Medicine at the University of Groningen (the Netherlands). In 1985 I took part in a postgraduate General Practitioner Course at the University of Groningen and became a General Practitioner.
