I am a self starting professional with a large array of experience in community affairs, learning development programmes, project management, and employee engagement. My skills include:Organising, execution, influencing, cross functional, and people leadership.I am currently CEO of Dress for Success Dublin. Dress supports the economic independence of women by providing career development tools and support networks. We have supported over 2000 women with professional clothing, skills and development opportunities they need to secure employment or get back into education/training.Dress is at the exciting stage of moving from "start up" stage to "scale up" stage and my ambition is to bring our services to more women across Ireland.

I had responsibility for delivery of Diageo's extensive community investment programme in Ireland including the successful Learning for Life training programme. This initiative seeks to provide real employment opportunities in the hospitality and tourism industry for young unemployed people. Learning for Life helps get young people off the live register and equip them with strong skills that are transferable to the workplace.I directed and developed the first pilot programme in Dublin 8 in 2014. Participants in the programme spent 8 weeks acquiring a range of skills from bar tendering to customer services and much more. Following the training they embarked on work experience in partner organisations in the hospitality and tourism industry. To date (2018) nearly 300 learners have participated in the programme. In March 2016 Learning for Life received the prestigious "Best Back to Employment Initiative" award from the Irish Institute of Training and Development. The programme also won "Best Back to Work initiative" at Chambers Ireland national CSR awards September 2017.From 2009 – 2014 I led on the mentoring, coaching and technical support for the winning Arthur Guinness Fund (AGF) awardees in Ireland.This programme has been an outstanding success for the thirty social enterprises that were awarded the AGF and had a very positive impact on our employees who have been involved in the judging process for the awards and in the delivery of the support programme.In 2014 Diageo was awarded Corporate Philanthropist of the Year for my work on the Arthur Guinness Fund.
