With over six years’ post-qualification experience I am capable of leading design teams on large-scale residential projects including student accommodation and leisure. I’m dedicated and conscientious, with an eye for detail. My strengths lie in technical design, client/consultant communication and creative problem solving. I often work on detailed drawing packages and the development of specification documents. To to meet our clients’ requirements, I work closely with the wider design team to coordinate information and deliver a quality product.I have previous experience as a timber frame designer, working closely with engineers and manufacturers. My work in New Zealand has given me experience in a wide range of sectors and ignited my interest in the use of timber in construction.I completed my RIBA Part II and III at UWE Bristol and have a BA (Hons) in Architectural Studies from Newcastle University.I’m passionate about sustainable development, with a particular interest in affordable housing and reducing waste and energy use in the construction industry. I stay up to date with the latest developments in BIM and the efficiencies this can create within the industry.
