Adam earned a bachelor degree in Psychology in 2008 from Trine University, a master degree in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2011 from Capella University, his PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision through Capella University in 2015. Adam currently owns his own private practice, Smithey Counseling Services (SmitheyCounseling.com) and serves local, national, and international clients. Here he provides customized counseling services to couples, individuals and families and specializes in couples workshops and private couples counseling weekends. Adam has more than twenty years of experience in providing client-centered services to adolescents, adults, couples and families.
