I have a passion for consulting, especially repurposing buildings for community use. I have been involved with several large heritage restoration projects and consulted on a few similar projects. Following these projects I wanted to enhance my skillset so I completed a Level 7 (masters equivalent) in Professional Consulting with the Chartered Management Institute specialising in Third sector organisations, I am also PRINCE2 qualified.I have worked on 2 large National Heritage Lottery funded restoration projects, a £5.7 million project from the development/delivery stage and the second project I was solely responsible for and lead from the expression of interest to delivery stage which was £1.2 million.I have vast senior management experience in the hospitality industry from both hotels and unique venues as well as in event planning. Through my time at Marriott hotels, I learnt about exceptional customer service and I continue to follow this philosophy. From my time working in sales, I have experience in budgeting, forecasting ( including blue sky data) and managing various sized teams who covered all aspects of sales/event roles.I have worked within the third sector for 9 years and experienced in working with and managing volunteers. I thrive on problem solving and love new challenges, as well as always pushing myself to achieve more.I love working within the Third sector and supporting people from all backgrounds, as well as my paid role I volunteer with Salford Survivor project, helped create and a part of the Salford mutual aid coalition. I am a Salford CVS Trusted voice, the chair of the Buile Hill Mansion Association committee and co-chair of the former Height Youth Club Association.I am also a founding member of the first gold from the stone Foundation 'care leavers Christmas dinner' in Salford in 2020, which will continue annually.
