Serve as University Chief Information Officer for state of Kansas activities, as well as on the Regents Information Technology Council (RITC) and the Kansas Information Technology Advisory Board (ITAB). Chair the PSU Information Technology Council and contribute to the North Central Association accreditation team and Second Century Task Force.Selected Accomplishments: • Re-organized existing Office by restructuring operations based on customer service goals and implementing a team-oriented approach to application development to achieve optimized end-user support and eliminate critical project backlog.• Expertly secured $200K+ in annual grants for past four years.• Working with university faculty developed and implemented a plan for the evaluation, selection and deployment of a new university wide Learning Management System.• Effectively managed multiple infrastructure and procedural changes, to include implementing gigabit Ethernet backbone, learning management systems, and network file sharing as well as multiple resource management tools, such as network, bandwidth, and Website management technology and virtual machine environment. • Planned and coordinated system evaluation and major upgrade of Datatel-based ERP.• Proved instrumental as member of the Kansas Strategic Information Management (SIM) committee charged with developing a SIM plan for all state agencies and universities.
