Kyle has 10 years of experience in the Pacific Northwest development market and is the group leader for GeoEngineers’ Portland Geotechnical Group. He has worked extensively on urban development projects with complex shoring and foundation conditions, including many projects where excavations extend below the groundwater table. Kyle is actively managing several projects with challenging site conditions that require extensive geotechnical review and attention to project plans and specifications. His experience includes construction observation for a diverse array of projects where he was the lead engineer in the field and worked actively with the design team and specialty contractors to install soldier pile/tieback shoring, soil nail shoring, ground improvement, deep foundations and large dewatering well systems. Kyle leads analyses for liquefaction susceptibility and consequences, ground improvement, slope stability, landslide mitigation, excavation support, settlement, bearing capacity, subsurface drainage, and erosion control. He is supported by a large group of dedicated engineers that take ownership of their work.Kyle works closely with GeoEngineers' numerical modeling, performance based design, environmental engineering, geology, hydrogeology, and construction design groups as well as several design and contractor partners.
