As part of this initiative the SCRUM process was applied specifically to the projects under my control with two week sprints delivering against a collaboratively refined backlog, daily stand-up meetings, team retrospectives and internal and external end of sprint demos being put in place. As Software Engineering Manager I was responsible for the transformation of both the core application platform and the application development strategy in support of the planned launch of the Pigsback.com platform in Canada and further international markets.
