Serving the packaging needs of pharmaceutical and healthcare manufacturers, contract packagers, and retailers through leadership, innovation, and close working relationships is what Keystone Folding Box Co. is all about. That same passion for innovation and service is in my blood. I grew up in a family of pharmacists. My father and his father before him both owned and operated independent pharmacies where I spent time working from a very young age through college.After college, I was recruited into the packaging industry and was immediately drawn in through a series of positions of escalating responsibility. Today after being involved in 3,000+ package projects and counting, I can safely say that every product’s packaging requirement is unique; at the same time, there are always many similarities that could be adopted, transferred, or modified, in some way. As Director of Marketing and Business Development for Keystone, I am grateful for the opportunity to apply my experience, knowledge, and problem-solving skills toward the development, manufacture, and marketing of packaging that improves product delivery and, ultimately, patient outcomes. One of my most satisfying professional experiences has been the award of a co-patent for ecoslide-RX, a reclosable, eco-friendly, child-resistant paperboard pack for products packaged in blisters. Used by a leading national pharmacy retailer, over 250 million all-paperboard ecoslide-RX units have already been produced. That same quest for cutting-edge packaging innovation that has real-world application and impact is on display every day at Keystone. An idea has to 'fire on all cylinders' to become a commercial success.
