A stealth mode, start-up working on: “A Python Based Software Platform for Electronic Design Automation.” The small team of three, was responsible for building the complete software from scratch including the back-ends and graphical analysis tool to process the results.Partly responsible for development of several modules that required complicated parsing and generation of known file types viz. XML, CSV and a few customized file types.Solely responsible for implementing a step by step GUI wizard for setting up of a problem/project that is also capable of a simultaneous CLI that can auto-update the GUI.Written interfaces for several open source computing platforms to make them compatible with Tvarit software To maintain the quality, sanity and consistency of the code the team also developed a module that automated the process of unit-testing and checking of coverages (internally done by “Coverage – by Ned Batchelder”).Refining and adding small modules to CLI to cut down the processing time taken for different features of GUI analysis and command line processing.Adding separate modules to the software on customer based requirements and feedback and rolling them out only after writing basic testing modules.Worked on major R&D in PyQt for a GUI module to be made as an extension to the existing platform.I am also responsible for writing the shell(bash) scripts to install the required back-ends.The major tools/technologies used were: python2, python3, PyQt4, Qt, bzr(bazaar) matplotlib and eclipse.
