At Sparx, I was responsible for leading the engineering and architecture team heavily focused on broadcast television, and a key contributor to product development and client relations. The company is focused on building a live web-based interactive technology that complements television broadcasts. By being directly engaged with stakeholders while leading the engineering team, I am able to help produce a platform that scales world-wide across major media networks.• Architected and built a bi-directional API and to translate realtime online data to a protocol that integrates with broadcast hardware. \• Key player in developing the sales, client on-boarding, and technology rollout processes. • Architected an automated system for the remote provisioning and management of client hardware.• Led R&D and a cross-discipline team to solve the complexities of integrating with constantly new client hardware/software.• Key contributor in launches of major events, from politics with CNBC and CNN, to major sports and entertainment networks.• My team earned a Social TV Award for Best in Broadcast for our work with ABC in bringing tweets to air in realtime through our technology.

At Fox Sports I was responsible for the daily operation of the web engineering group. Worked closely with show producers, TV broadcast engineers, marketing and other senior business leaders to build revenue channels and cut costs.• Technically managed and drove strategy for speed.com - the official website of Speed Channel.• Brought to market the first Android / iDevice / Flash / HTML5 streaming platform and multi camera live event system within the Fox Family of networks. Synchronized with a television broadcast this brought a complete second screen experience to SPEED. Complete with syndication, strategic partnership options including but not limited to partner branded experiences bringing a new level of monetization to the SPEED new media and digital group • Led a data-driven UX/content strategy overhaul that more than doubled monthly uniques and drove over 25% incremental ad sales growth. • Optimized efficiency of large team workflows due to cutbacks at FOX to more than double team output. • Solved the need for cost-effective web scale by designing and launching a hybrid on-premise/cloud infrastructure at Rackspace with a zero-downtime migration. 600k/mo uniques grew to over 1.4 million uniques with no scale issues.• Architected and developed a successful software platform that synchronized websites with broadcast television to allow for the delivery of live statistics of broadcast events to the web applications (fantasy bid app, dynamic camera feed app, live chat) and vice versa.

Provided premium tier technology consulting across multiple platforms. In addition to consulting services, FDG was responsible for technology advancements withing voice biometrics. Through a strategic partnership with Porticus Technology Inc. and Aetna Health Care, FDG built one of the first iOS voice biometric security SDKs and application. In the consumer market FDG released Hexile, a thrilling puzzler for the iPhone.

At Red Ventures I worked in a number of roles building and iterating on web applications to support direct sales and marketing efforts.• Engineered solutions for sales center agents, distributed sales force (DSF) agents, and marketing managers.• Developed a number of reports and ETL processes to supply low-latency performance data to the marketing teams via the company intranet.• Contributed to the core technology for marketing operations, including R&D of direct integrations with Google AdWords API to empower business leaders to make real time decisions on paid ad campaigns.

At IBSM, I was responsible for all web properties (traffic growth, SEO strategy, engineering, UX/UI) as well as internal technology R&D. • Built tools for product management, warehouse operations and workflow automation. • Helped bootstrap and grow an originally small team to later achieve the rank of top 10 retailers for Satellite Radio in 2006.
