Sharon simultaneously holds the role of Chief Compliance Officer, and under her leadership, MODE’s compliance program was honored with back-to-back Navex Excellence in Ethics and Compliance Awards (2023, 2024). In 2024, Sharon also received Compliance Week's Innovator of the Year award and was named D-CEO's Outstanding General Counsel. Under her direction, MODE’s ESG program twice obtained the EcoVadis silver rating. In her tenure at MODE, she has also served as Chief People Officer, head of Marketing, and head of Facilities. Sharon is a founding member of the company’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion program, and is a member of the Texas A&M University School of Law’s Alumni Board of Directors. Sharon brings a unique blend of experience, skills, and ethical leadership to the C-Suite and the boardroom, often accomplishing beyond what was initially imaginable. She holds 20+ years of experience enhancing value and driving efficiencies across private equity, privately held, and public companies, from startups to Fortune 50 firms. Sharon has served as a de facto CAO/COO that excels in business transformations with expertise in legal matters (including M&A), compliance, strategic planning, human resources, facilities, marketing, and operations. Competencies include public/private/PE entities; planning/integrating M&A, plus organizational design, project management, policy development, talent acquisition, development, and retention, benefits/comp, & managing relationships with alliance partners, vendors, and clients. Beyond professional pursuits, Sharon has been an endurance athlete, including marathons and adventure racing, and enjoys kiteboarding. She is dedicated to making a positive impact in her community, including through directing ESG community events.
