Engineer and Team lead of a group with multiple responsibilities; each are listed below. Managed the daily tasks of a team of 10 (both on and offshore) to ensure successful delivery of support and software. Implemented many development/testing improvements to streamline the delivery process reducing the risk of all software developed by the group. Worked in both Agile sprints and Continuous Delivery development workflows.Software created by this group includes the energy storage site controllers that are used to control sites of sizes as small as 30 kW/ 30 kWh to 100’s MW/ 100’s MWh. This was a linux based system running both open sourced and proprietary software to deliver the services required by our clients. Services included Frequency Response, Load Shifting, Demand Management, and many more. My leadership and technical abilities allowed this group to continue delivering this system reliably even with exponential growth of the number and size of sites.Led the effort to redesign the company’s data collection system to allow for the predicted growth. Business requirements changed making the existing system not viable due to security and scaling concerns. Designed a system using a collection of open source projects and custom code to deliver the services required below cost and on time.
