On my journey to health recovery, I pursued passion projects that allowed me to lend my skills and expertise to the benefit of several organizations. I enjoyed tutoring children and adolescents who needed additional support for both Adams Five Star Schools and Lincoln Elementary (Denver, CO). My partner and I also created and ran a charity golf tournament for 10 years to raise thousands of dollars for Girls Inc. of Metro Denver. When my partner and I were offered the opportunity to move to Australia, I became involved in community outreach for St. John’s Ambulance. There, I was recruited into a program to capture WWII survivors’ stories in a way that younger audiences would enjoy and connect with, eventually contributing to production of a grant-funded graphic novel.I also volunteer my time to a local PEO chapter in speaking engagements on wellbeing and by helping with their largest annual fundraiser.

Desiring to "pay it forward," I partnered with Mastery Students of the Health Coach Insitute as a coach, mentor, and teacher to help them define and successfully launch their coaching journey. This experience also allowed me to accelerate my coaching ability while engaging in continuing training to hone my craft.

In this role, I led business development of key national and global accounts with companies such as Coors and Corporate Express. I honed my abilities in relationship management and communication to attain new business, strengthen existing client relationships, and lead solutions and program implementation.

I was attracted to medical sales because they involved developing and delivering solutions that improved patient care. Leading business development, I attained several performance and sales awards for signing and managing contracts and implementations with hospitals throughout Colorado and Utah.

I was hired to sell payroll solutions to local businesses. As I gained experience in a cold-calling environment, I realized that I valued the relationships more than the pursuit. One of my favorite activities was developing connections with banks and CPAs within the district.
