As a Teaching Assistant in Computer Science and Programming, my main goal was to facilitate the understanding and application of both fundamental and advanced concepts in the field of programming and software development. My focus was on four key subject areas of study:Introduction to Programming: I provided support to students in their first approach to programming logic, algorithm design, and flowcharts, as well as in the introduction to programming languages such as Pascal, Delphi, Visual Basic, and Python. I guided students in code modularization, the fundamentals of object-oriented programming, and the creation of user interfaces with forms in Embarcadero RAD Studio.Programming 1: Focused on object-oriented programming, I supported the development of skills for creating classes and data structures, in addition to the creation of graphical interfaces and the development of projects applying OOP.Programming 2: I assisted students in delving into the design and development of recursive algorithms, algorithmics, and optimization to measure the execution time of algorithms, all related to computational complexity O(n) with the C++ programming language.Data Structures 1: I facilitated learning in the development of abstract data structures using Java, including the creation of user interfaces in Netbeans.In addition to my support role in the classroom, I actively contributed to the creation of digital and video educational material, available on my YouTube channel, "El Rincón de Mauri". During my tenure as Student Welfare Secretary, I dedicated myself to promoting an inclusive and supportive academic environment, focused on the holistic well-being of students in the fields of Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, and Network and Telecommunications Engineering. My focus was on strengthening the student community, fostering diversity and inclusion, and enhancing the educational experience for all.Key responsibilities and achievements:Student Community: I created and managed a student community on Telegram, making it the primary platform for sharing academic information, scholarship opportunities, important announcements, and learning resources, reaching over 83% of the student population in my faculty (3000), currently active.Support during the Pandemic: I served as a key resource for information and support during the transition to virtual education, providing guidance and assistance to address the challenges presented by the pandemic and quarantine.Problem Resolution: I took the lead in addressing academic and administrative issues, ensuring the proper resolution of incidents and upholding justice and respect for student rights.Student Representation: I acted as a liaison between the student community and university administration, conveying the voices and concerns of students to decision-making bodies and working towards effective and equitable solutions.Complementary Education: I offered free programming tutoring and managed a scholarship program with Coursera during the pandemic, contributing to the academic and professional development of students outside the classroom.This experience allowed me to develop key skills in leadership, community management, conflict resolution, and promotion of inclusion, preparing me to make a positive contribution to any educational or professional environment, always focused on the well-being and progress of the community.
