Conducted research to teleoperate a series manipulator using a 6 Degree of Freedom parallel manipulator. Performed modeling and simulation of integrated teleoperation system and validated experimental data by comparing to model predictions.Areas of exposure: Using neural networks for forward/inverse kinematics, interfacing between LabVIEW and simulink, mapping non-identical work spaces, Forward and inverse kinematics for serial manipulators.Work used to validate research documented in:Shukla, Amit, and Hamad Karki. I was involved in the design and manufacture of medical devices. Focused on the prototyping and development of custom manufacturing equipment and product specification testing while working alongside a multi-disciplinarian team. Other areas of exposure included: Process development, testing of mechanical properties, tool design, project management.

I primarily worked on planning, troubleshooting and implementation of the new assembly line for the 2013 GMC Sierra front bumper. I streamlined the assembly sequence and proposed a solution for a major fit issue, discovered during initial builds, which was later implemented.Other tasks included:Work Cell/Process Analysis and Improvements, GD&T, Plant Layout optimization, Ergonomics of Work Cells, Time Studies, PFMEA, Existing and New Equipment Testing/Validation/Improvements, Production Trial Run Supervision and Process Audits.
