I am passionate about developing and deploying Artificial Intelligence technologies to address defense and national security needs.I am the founding group leader of the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Technology group at MIT Lincoln Laboratory. The group works with customers in government and partners in academia to develop and mature AI technologies for national security needs. Current research areas include Generative AI, Trustworthy AI, High Performance Computing, Edge computing, Autonomous systems, and multi-agent systems. Reporting to the CTO, I also manage a small investment portfolio focused on funding vanguard research in application of AI to National Security. Before coming to MIT Lincoln Laboratory, I was part of the founding team at a startup developing high performance computing solutions. We built a high-performance computing hardware and middleware stack for document and data analysis. Prior to that, I worked at Arthur D. Little, Inc. and at Det Norske Veritas in a technology consulting and product development role.I greatly enjoyed my rather protracted educational phase that started at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi with a BTech and culminated at Cornell University with a Ph.D.
