Mark Borup is an Associate Director for Naval Requirements and Capabilities supporting the Naval Power Mission Area at Raytheon, An RTX Business. Responsible for leading all existing and developing sales efforts, marketing and business development strategies for domestic and international business worldwide. Raytheon Technologies is a technology and innovation leader specializing in defense, civil government and cybersecurity solutions.Most recently, Senior Manager of Business Development and Asia Pacific Regional Manager for RMS, Air Warfare Systems (AWS) Product Line and Advanced Programs (AP). In this capacity, led AWS and AP business development strategies for more than 43 countries.Before becoming a member of the RMS team in November 2004, managed the Raytheon Field Office at Naval Air Station Lemoore, CA. In this capacity, managed West Coast and Asia-Pacific operations across a broad range of product lines, customer support services and business development activities for F/A-18 aircraft sensors, weapons and avionics systems. Supported field sites included NAS Lemoore, CA, NAS China Lake, CA, NAS Fallon, NV, and Atsugi, Japan. Primary responsibilities also included the direct oversight of products and support services for five aircraft carrier air wings.During Desert Shield/Desert Storm and Operation Southern Watch, headed the Marine Corps’ Tactical Air Strike Planning Cell and deployed onboard the USS Carl Vinson (flew with VMFA-235 Death Angels and VFA-113 Stingers). Recipient of the Admiral Wesley L. McDonald leadership award.
