As a dedicated PhD in Polymer Chemistry with a strong background in research and development and a strong interest in sustainability, my goal is to utilise my technical and leadership skills to create innovative strategies for sustainability in the chemical industry. I have a track record in leading projects related to the incorporation of bio-based monomers in aqueous emulsion polymerisation polymer synthesis, targeting not only enhanced performance but also a reduced carbon footprint and increased bio-based content.In my current role, I am responsible for the optimisation and creation of new methods and processes within the Technology Platforms and External Innovation team. I also serve as a line manager to two talented Chemists, honing my management and team-building skills.With a strong interest for integrating science with sustainability, my ambition is to contribute to creating and implementing strategies that not only achieve sustainability goals but also yield products with a value proposition based on financial, social, and environmental benefits.
