In my role as events co-ordinator I have developed many skills through my responsibilities. My duties include planning, delivering and evaluating events from 30 to 1,500 delegates.As part of my role I managed an external contract for an association, which included; liaising with external clients, organising and attending monthly meetings, keeping the website and all information up to date and delivering multiple conferences annually.

Once completing my University degree I started a student placement at Inclusion Events; this gave me an introductory insight in to the events industry. Working in a fast paced consumer driven environment showed me the fundamental elements needed to arrange a successful event. My time here coincided with the run up to Inclusions large annual conference, this allowed me to get involved with all aspects of planning a conference including; liaising with speakers and exhibitors, creating signage and slides using the company branding, creating joining instructions and booking forms and keeping the website updated.
