About Ravi Verma (Pst, Cpcc, Crp)

Some things I would like to share about my core values as a human being...1. KINDNESS - My most important value in life is kindness. There is a lot of suffering in the world right now. The least we can do is be kind to each other, especially to those who might face more adversity - economically disadvantaged, those with disabilities, immigrants, people of color and members of the LGBTQ community.2. DO NO HARM - My second highest value is do no harm. I may not be able to soothe all the pain the world that I would like to, but I don't want to add to it. I know I fail in this aspirational goal every day, but I want to be surrounded by people who share this value and can help me get better. If this is not a shared goal, I might not be able to help you.3. HUMILITY - My third most important value is humility. We are flawed human beings. And none of us has all the answers. Also, the road to hell is paved with good intentions. If we are not humble, we will not realize that despite our best intentions, sometimes, we fall from the ideals we aspire to. If humility is not a shared value, we might not be a good fit. I expect it in myself and those I work with.4. CURIOSITY - My next highest value is curiosity. If I want to be kind to people, if I want to not harm others and if I realize I am a flawed human being, I would like to be curious about where I might be falling from my ideals and how I might get better.5. OPENNESS - My next highest value is to be open. To be open to new ideas, to be open to trying new ways of being, to be open to hear the truth especially when it is hard to hear, so that I can continuously improve in pursuit of my true north.I can sometimes be a slow learner, so it has taken me some time to get clarity about my values. I prefer to work with people who have compatible values and complementary strengths. Now that you might know a little bit more about who I am at my core and what I stand for, if I haven’t completely put you off, here is the boring stuff...I love helping organizations figure out if / how Agile principles, values and practices can help them deliver more sustainable, measurable value to their stakeholders. Over the past 10+, I have tried to do this for many organizations with mixed results. If you would like to explore how my long list of cringe-worthy, embarrassing failures can help you reduce needless suffering in the name of Agile, let's talk!

Listed skills include Agile Methodologies, Program Management, Scrum, Software Development, and 45 others.
