Current● Guided students toward reaching target growth scores on the Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) state test. By establishing clear developmental plans and incorporating an innovative educational curriculum (The Daily Five), overall student proficiency levels increased to:― Reading - 88%: an improvement of 17+% from previous year.― Math - 98%: a record high proficiency level, increased by over 25% from previous year. ● Motivated students with iPads, Internet resources, SMART Board tools, and other advanced technologies.● Effectively improved communication and student progress with parents through blogging, daily letters and folders, emails, and phone calls.● Increased student attention and on-task behaviors through the use of Stability Balls as classroom chairs.
