Smrithika Majukar Email and Phone Number
I’m Smrithika (or Smithy!) – an Indian-Dutch writer and filmmaker. Communications Coordinator at WFT Ireland / WFT International and Assistant Editor at Film Ireland Magazine, with intensive experience in corporate administration, review writing, copywriting, editing, event management, marketing, and public relations. Through strategic social media management and corporate communications, associated organisations have reached a wider demographic, with increased statistics witnessed in follower count and audience engagement. Experience in organisations with fixed funding has provided me with knowledge and understanding of record-keeping, funding applications and deliverables, and efficient project management. I do my best to keep up with media trends with the conscious intention to develop and grow with every team I work with.Graduated with a First Class Distinction from Trinity College Dublin’s MPhil in Screenwriting. I’m passionate about writing the (un)serious intergenerational immigrant experiences that come with being a woman born post-Y2K. Shortlisted for the 2023 National Television Academies Ireland Greenlight Screenwriting Lab led by Philip Shelley, as well as the 2024 Screen Ireland, Fremantle and Element Pictures' StoryHouse LAB. Interned at the Good Hero Studios Writers Lab at Trinity College Dublin, developing original IP for Good Hero producers and executives. Volunteered for the 2023 Dublin International Film Festival as a Quality Control and Festival Volunteer, and attended the 2024 Berlinale with a Press Accreditation. I’ve had the privilege and joy of creating two short films with my Trinity College cohort that won awards at the 2023 Dublin Universities Student Film Festival.
