Member of audit support assurance Statutory Audit Excellence (SAE) team at Global delivery services that support Statutory audits for 100+ clients across 130 countries. Also, supporting Centre of Excellence team at Ireland by directly working with the local audit teams to provide them the Global Statutory audit status of their engagementsRoles and responsibilities: • Managing overall communication with stakeholders and the Local audit teams• Key role in the phases of audit- planning & strategy, execution, and finalization• Leading various engagements from reviewer’s standpoint and execute end to end delivery of scope of work• Delivered health check and benchmarking analysis. The analysis enables us to gain insights on the different statutory audits globally and provides recommendation to the management on how to close the gaps between current state and leading practices• Pivotal in adding new clients include, Scoping, Budget, resource, reporting and project timelines agreements and completing the onboarding formalities like instructions roll out and IT application set up• Project management engagement cycle year-on-year basis, maintaining budgeting and estimated time to complete • Built strong relationships with onshore colleagues and clients, identifying areas where SAE can improve quality of services and increase the scope of work• Leading a team of associates, responsible for managing, coach and act as a mentor for them, playing a key role in the development of the team• Managing associates as a counsellor- being responsible for their career development, learning and feedback cycle from year- end results perspective• Deftly achieved the responsibility of shaping up careers of the team members by engaging in constructive feedback and acknowledging potentials and differences• Responsible for driving subject matter expert structure on one of the key audit services.
