Japanese Language Librarian
Current- Manage the Japanese language collection, the largest of its kind in Northern California: oversee the materials budgets, make purchase and deaccession decisions, curate the collection according to public needs, provide bilingual reference and research assistance- Foster community connections and partnerships through outreach and relationship-building- Plan and host culturally diverse and inclusive events for all ages: hire performers/instructors, conduct programs myself- Awarded a leadership grant for innovative programming
