About Stella-Maria Thomas

I'm a Documentation Manager/Senior Technical Author with over 30 years’ experience, both in permanent and contract roles. I specialise in technical documentation from planning and design through to publication, including the setup and consolidation of existing documentation, upgrading of tools, and localisation management as and when it is required. I also have experience creating marketing and PR material.I have worked for a number of major companies in IT (Lumesse, Hewlett Packard, McAfee, etc.), telecommunications (Alcatel, Cellnet, etc.), banking (ING Bank, Euroclear, SWIFT, VISA International), and travel (Amadeus, SITA, Eurocontrol).I also spent some 25 years (until the end of 2104) as a part-time motorsports journalist and photographer covering Formula 3 in particular. I designed, built and maintain a website covering these and other categories (http://www.juniorformulamotorsport.org/).I feel at home in many European countries and speak fluent German and good French, though I would not presume to write documentation in anything apart from English.https://smtfhw.wordpress.com/
