School Support Library Technician
CurrentIn this central department role I provide on-site support to school libraries as needed for special projects and maintenance. I create, develop and maintain websites used by staff and students to access resources offered by Library Services, and provide training to new and existing staff in their use. I also support staff in the creation of school library websites using Google Sites, as well as other tools as needed. I facilitate orders offered by Library Services to all schools including promotion of current and upcoming orders, placing orders with vendors, submitting claims for missing/incorrect items, and distributing items to school locations.I produce content featuring various print and online resources, tools and other timely library information to be shared through the departmental social media accounts I maintain, as well as by email and newsletter.
