Software Lead Engineer (Dsp)
CurrentResponsibility / Work done:1> Gathering Requirements, Documentation, Design, Development, Testing, Optimizing, Integrating and Debugging below algorithms and measurements for high speed serial data systems. These algorithms are implemented in C#, C++ and Matlab.Data Dependent Jitter and Noise (DDJ and DDN), Sub Rate Jitter and Noise (SRJ, F/2, F/4, F/8 and SRN), Periodic Jitter and Noise (PJ, PN), Deterministic Jitter and Noise (DJ, DN), Random Jitter and Noise (RJ, RN), Non Periodic Jitter and Noise (NPJ, NPN), Total Jitter at BER (TJ@BER), Total Noise at BER (TN@BER), Eye Width at BER (Width@BER), Eye Height at BER, (Height@BER), Eye Width, Eye Height, Eye High, Eye Low, Eye Diagram, Mask Hits, Auto fit Mask Hits, Bit Error Rate contours etc.2> Proposed and implemented a tool using which one can modify frequency, amplitude, rise time, fall time in a single dimensional signal. This is very useful tool for generating synthetic signals of different future technologies. This tool is completely implemented in Matlab using vectorization concepts.3> Used ipp libraries to compute Radix 2 fft and ifft etc.4> Below digital signal processing concepts are used in algorithms / measurementsLinear time invariant (LTI) system, Impulse Response, Step Response, Convolution Sum, Windowing concepts (Blackman Window), Discrete time fourier series (DTFS/FFT/IFFT), Coherent gain, Magnitude spectrum, Phase Spectrum, Splitting Fourier co-efficient, FFT of real valued signal which satisfies complex conjugate symmetry in frequency domain, Extracting a time trend of desired frequency in time domain as well as frequency domain, Sinc, Spline and Linear interpolation, Q Scale, Regression.5> Written algorithms for electrical validation and analysis of high speed serial standards at the physical layer for signal integrity as well as timing to achieve the desired level of power / performance goals for JEDEC standards (i.e. DDR, DDR2, DDR3, DDR4, LPDDR and LPDDR2) and MOST technology.
