First and foremost my belief is honesty is the best policy. Most of my experience has come from in class projects. However, now that I am a college graduate I have been getting more real world experience. I am currently the Media intern at Camp Hebron where I have been diving into real world experience by doing a myriad of tasks. I have had to do research for social media strategies, I have been in charge of ordering items that are supplied to campers and staff alike. I was also put in charge of creating cards that are handed out to parents when their campers meet the counselors at camp. The biggest thing that I got out my internship at Camp Hebron was skills at communicating with other people/departments. My other past experience has been in the food industry. Specifically, in managing a dish room. I was a student trainer for three years at Messiah College Dining Services. This job allowed me to create and nurture leadership and communication skills. In both of these jobs, I had to be very flexible and be ready to switch gears at the drop of a hat. I feel that the ability to adapt to almost any situation is the most important skill that anyone can have.
